Product Overview
The 2L Planetary Ball Mill is an essential device for mixing, fine grinding, small sample preparation, dispersion of nanomaterials, new product development and small-batch production of high-tech materials. This compact unit offers full functionality, high efficiency, and low noise operation, making it ideal for research institutions, universities, and enterprise laboratories to obtain micro-particle research samples.
The system can process four samples simultaneously in each experiment and, when equipped with a vacuum ball mill jar, can grind samples under vacuum conditions. It finds wide application across multiple industries including geology, mineral resources, metallurgy, electronics, building materials, ceramics, chemical engineering, light industry, medicine, and environmental protection.
Working Principle
The XQM series ball mills feature two to four ball grinding jars mounted on the same turntable. During operation, the ball grinding jars not only revolve around the turntable's axis but also rotate around their own axes, performing planetary motion. This dual rotation causes grinding balls in the tank to collide with each other during high-speed movement, effectively grinding and mixing samples.
The system supports both dry and wet grinding methods for materials of different particle sizes and compositions, achieving minimum particle sizes down to 0.1 microns (1.0×10⁻⁴ mm).
